catching up
Summer seemed to just fly by too! We went on a quick trip to the Dominican Republic (check the travel blog for that fun)! And then things go super serious with college planning. A few days after graduation, we were at New Student Orientation registering for classes! Absolute awful academic advisor . . . she made changes to his schedule without telling him . . . dropped classes, added classes he already had credit for . . . just not a good experience! We did manage to get a mailbox.
Which also happens to be the exact same mailbox I had 30 years ago . . . yes I asked if it was available. In early August I dropped him off at Fish Camp to meet up with 600 of his new Aggie freshman . . . . . . and picked up a kool-aid drinking die hard Aggie!
And within 24 hours he tested positive for covid and was stuck at home for the next five days! At least he would still have some time to hangout with his friends before they all went their separate ways. Next up: the big move . . . empty nest is no fun!
