WOW
It's been two weeks . . . I don't know how people with more than one kid manage to get their kids to all their activities! I swear we have had something every week night the last two weeks! I'm looking forward to tomorrow and no where to go! Let's see what we've been up to . . .
Colin's soccer . . . practice and games . . . sadly his team hasn't won a game but he is loving every second of it . . . he has loved the interaction with other boys his age and still loves to cheer them on when he isn't playing . . . he gets so excited to go to practice and still grins from ear to ear.
Colin's school . . . he had grandparent's day with my mom and dad with a stop at the book fair. We have had a few 'six year old moments' the last two weeks but boys will be boys.
Colin's art . . . he has taken up anything artsy so signed him up for a weekly class down the street. He really enjoys going even if he is only one of two boys . . . he loves to tell me to be quiet so he can do his work.
And everything else in between . . . he is doing okay in school . . . we have had to start homework and studying to which is hard some nights but in time he will figure it out. It is hard to get him focused after spending all day in school . . . oh dear I know it is only going to get harder.
As for me . . . eat, sleep, work, and play chauffeur . . . I did manage to fit in a long weekend trip to New Orleans! It was all planned a couple weeks ago after a phone conversation . . . hotel in 24 hours, flights in less than 48, and off we went . . . we had not seen each other since November 2004 . . . we ate, shopped, hung out, drank, and of course some of the best people watching . . . go here to see some photos.

So glad you got to have fun in the middle of the business of life! Looks like you had a good time in New Orleans. Just about finished planning our next vacation. The kids have a 2 week break in October, so we're heading to London again with my Mother in Law (the tickets were just too cheap). Then we're also taking the kiddos to Disneyland Paris for 4 days over Halloween. Should be fun, but crazy with 3 kiddos! Coming across the pond anytime soon??
